Mark your calendars for Sunday, 11 August 2024, as Norwood Park in Southwell, Nottinghamshire hosts the inaugural Norwood Park Classic Car & Motorcycle Show 2024. This family-friendly event promises a day filled with vintage, classic, and modern classic vehicles, live judging and awards, live music, trade stalls, and delicious food. Located at Halam Road, Southwell (NG25 0PF), the event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vehicle Displays

Expect to be dazzled by around 300 vintage, classic, and modern classic vehicles on display. The cars will be showcased by age categories (pre-60s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s+) and types, such as American cars, sports convertibles, commercial and military vehicles, kit cars, and replicas. Additionally, a wide range of club stands will feature classic and modern classic clubs.

In the classic bike section, visitors can admire a variety of vintage and classic motorcycles.

Live Commentary & Judging

All display vehicles are part of the vehicle judging process overseen by experienced commentator Richard Lee and judge Chris McPhail. Awards will be presented across all vehicle categories, and a grand finale will be presented for the "Car of the Show" award.

The vehicle concours is located in the event arena, where Richard will interview owners about their restoration projects and vehicle stories. If you have an interesting story behind your vehicle or an exceptional restoration project to share, let Les know—you might get interviewed!

To participate in the judging process:

• Listen out for your category to be called.
• Make your way into the arena when called.
• Winners of each category will return for the "Car of the Show" judging at the end of the event.

Each exhibitor entering the arena for judging can receive a unique commemorative plaque.

Trade & Autojumble Stalls

The event features retail and autojumble stalls selling hard-to-find parts, merchandise, memorabilia, antiques, craft items and more. Whether you're looking for that elusive car part or a unique memorabilia piece—this is your chance!

Live Music

Following successful trials in 2023, live music will now be a staple feature at this year's show. Enjoy popular acoustic tracks performed by talented musicians at two intervals: once at 10 a.m. and again during lunchtime between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Feel free to put in your song requests!

Food & Drink

Their catering village will offer a wide selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Responsible bars, confectionery stands, and ice cream vendors will also serve beverages.

Dogs Welcome

They are a dog-friendly organisation! Visitors are welcome to bring their dogs, but they must always be kept on a lead. Please use the on-site dustbins to dispose of dog waste responsibly.

Parking & Facilities

Visitor parking is free! Portable toilets, including disabled facilities, are available within the event field. Disabled visitor parking is also provided; inform parking stewards upon arrival, who will direct you accordingly.
